Great job by Tim Denny organizing the Hilltop Civic Association’s July 4th celebration!  Activities included a decorated bike and costume parade which was led by the Bon Air and Manoa fire companies from the Bon Air Fire House on Royal Avenue down  to Hilltop Field.   The participants were decked out in patriotic red, white and blue, and the bikes, scooters, strollers, and wagons were decorated to the max!  The kids enjoyed the patriotic trinkets and flags provided by the HCA to complete their outfits.

 Following the parade, our Commissioner, Bill Wechsler, kicked off activities… a presentation was made to the Hilltop Little League for their contribution to the community… prizes were awarded… family races were held… notes to our troops were written… doorprizes awarded… and soft pretzels and water ice were enjoyed by all.
