The next collection will be on Saturday, May 6 at the Marple Transfer Station, 895 Sussex Blvd, Broomall, 19008, rain or shine from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
These are VERY popular events, so please try to get there early. Electronics and latex paint will not be accepted. Please go to http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/
Also, once again this year, Haverford Township will be joining with Marple and Newtown Townships in hosting a free electronics collection recycling event at the Delaware County Community College on Saturday, May 20 (see image below). This new location should help avoid the traffic problems that we experienced at last year’s event in Broomall.
You must bring your license to prove you are a resident of Haverford Township. This event will provide an opportunity to properly dispose of basically anything, large or small, with a plug.
