The Hilltop Civic Association was formed to promote the development of our community and the betterment of our neighborhood. We sponsor programs and activities for our members and the community at large; e.g., the July 4th Parade, Santa visit, garden and holiday lights contests, a tree lottery, education grants for college students, and social functions. We support the Hilltop Baseball League, the Manoa and Bon Air Fire Companies, Townwatch, the Haverford Library, and the Darby Creek Valley Association with contributions. We partner with our township commissioner on neighborhood matters.
Membership is open to all households within the area bounded by Glendale Road, West Chester Pike, Township Line Road, and the Darby Creek. The annual membership dues are $10 per family per year. A membership drive is held in March but residents can join at any time during the year .
An annual newsletter is sent to all residents in March. Periodic mailings are done to members only for upcoming events.
There are three types of people in the world: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened! If you want to make things happen, get involved in your community and join the Hilltop Civic Association. Attend meetings and bring your ideas and suggestions to help our organization grow.
